Site Options

To configure Site Options, log in to your cmsadvantage account.

If you manage multiple sites using cmsadvantage, select the website that you want to configure to from the Site dropdown list on the left hand side of the main Control Panel, or by clicking on your domain name in the top right (this will reveal another dropdown menu of the sites you can manage).

What is this feature?

Site Options allows you or your provider to record your sites PLESK server (the facility to manage your web hosting) and Website Analytics details. Providing a way to safely store your usernames and passwords so you don’t ever forget.

Set Site Options

  • Select Configuration > Site Options from the main menu.

  • This takes you to Location Options.

  • In the PLESK Details section enter your IP address into PLESK Server (beginning with https://).
  • Enter your PLESK Username and PLESK Password into their respective fields.
  • In the Website Analytics Details enter your Analytics Provider name, for example, Google Analytics.
  • Enter the URL into the Analytics Website field, for example, http://www.google.com/analytics.
  • Your Analytics Provider supplies Analytics Code when you sign up to their service. Enter this code here.
  • Enter your Analytics Username and Analytics Password into their respective fields.
  • Click Save Options to complete.
